Community Feedback: Compliments and Complaints
We are committed to providing professional and respectful service to all members of the community. Your feedback is essential in maintaining the standards of excellence expected of our department. By sharing your experiences, you contribute to strengthening the trust, accountability, and transparency that are fundamental to effective community-policing partnerships.
Recognizing Exceptional Service
The department encourages residents to acknowledge officers or staff members who demonstrate exemplary conduct, professionalism, and dedication. By sharing your compliment, you are helping to formally recognize and reward outstanding performance and reinforce a culture of excellence within the department.
All compliments are reviewed by the Chief of Police and included in personnel records as an acknowledgment of service. Even brief statements highlighting positive interactions can significantly impact morale and motivate continued excellence.
Reporting Concerns
While we strive to provide the highest level of service, there may be occasions when residents have questions or concerns regarding an interaction with an employee. Reporting a concern allows the department to identify opportunities for additional training or improvements within the department and ensure accountability while maintaining fairness for all parties involved.
By completing this form, you are submitting an informal complaint to the department. If you wish to submit a formal complaint, it must be done in writing, signed by the complainant, notarized, and returned to the department. Both formal and informal complaints are treated respectfully, reviewed thoroughly, and addressed promptly.
